…is an homage, and a celebration of Black people, contribution and culture. My hope is that each piece evokes curiosity, celebration and healing. I am inspired by the stories and folklore of my upbringing being in Black spaces. I am also inspired by the stories and folklore of elders met on my journey. Visually, I am drawn to vivid color, deep matte colors, and textures observed in the natural world. Bringing all of those together to create visually and spiritually captivating pieces.
